February 27, 2010 - Candlelight Bowl presented by Northern Illinois Lightening Fast Pitch Softball
9:00 pm – 12:00 am. $30 per person/$50 per couple. Donation Includes: 3 games-scotch doubles,
shoe rental, buffet-style dinner, & door prize entry, Proceeds will benefit the
Northern Illinois Lightning Fastpitch Softball, Inc. NFP

April 10, 2010 - Elgin Lanes is to sponsor College Information Day 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The program is
being conducted by Kyle Bault, Head Coach at St. Edward High School and will feature coaches from
McKendree University and Robert Morris and others. You will hear about the opportunities for both
men and women and even hear from some of the collegiate bowlers. Reservations are suggested but

April 17, 2010 - Elgin Lanes is proud to be part of the YMCA Healthy Kids Day 10:00am to 1:00pm at
Elgin Community College Business Center. The purpose of Healthy Kids Day is to support kids and
families as they strive to improve their health in spirit, mind, and body. In the community we serve
this is particularly important knowing that 46% of children in U-46 School District are overweight or
at risk of obesity.
April 30, 2010 -Window Wonderland Committee will be hosting a Candlelight Bowl-a-Rama Fund-
raiser from 7-11pm to raise funds for the 2010 Downtown Elgin Window Wonderland.

Cost is $15.00 per person which includes three games, shoes, food, raffles, cash bar & fun! ($5.00 per
person if not bowling.) 4 to 6 bowlers per lane. If you want to bowl on the same lanes as another
couple, please let us know and we will try to accommodate. Business teams are also welcome!
June 5, 2010 - Strike for a Cure Fund-Raiser for Susan G. Komen 3 Day (Breast Cancer Walk) 7pm to
12midnight. Tickets are $15.00 per person/$25.00 per couple, children 14 and over are welcome.
